poem

Sleepless night just watching him breath,
I don't want nothing happening to him,
What will he do, what will he be, when he grows up and away from me,
A handsome father, lawyer or doctor,
I remember his smell, hands and feet,
Now he's the big boy and wants to be free,
I cant imagine at the age of thirteen,
I cant even let go and his only three,
Time flies and doesn't seem to slow down,
One day he will be gone,
Loving his children and asking himself why?
Why time has to fly?

To my baby boy Julian, who wakes up with a broken leg every morning so I can carry him all morning long and in to his class room.
